Blog Contests on the Net

A few days ago Blog Contests was accepted to Smorty. Smorty is a get paid for blogging service, or better yet, get paid to give your opinion service. This is the second that has been accepted by Smorty and this far I am happy with the service. Registration is very simple, and the approval process took about 2 to 3 days. This is my second blog approved with them and I will be submitting couple more since they allow an unlimited number of blogs per account. The main requirements for blog approval is that it be at least 3 months old and is updated at least twice a week.

Smorty uses Google PagaRank, Alexa rank, and several other factors to determine which opportunities to you will receive and how much you will get paid for paid post. They start at about $6 but can be as high as $100 per paid post. You will get paid for the opportunities almost as soon as they are approved by the advertiser which is about 5 days.

The Smorty site is very easy to use and you can easily see what opportunities are available to you and for which blogs, as well as the review requirements. If you decide to accept an opportunity you have 3 days to complete it. You will also get emailed when a new opportunity is available and you should accept them quickly since they are usually limited in number.

So far my experience with Smorty has been positive, and they start you off with a sponsored post to talk about their service. I have also seen they they have a regular number of opportunities on a daily basis, and that is a good sign if you want to make some money with your blog.
