First Prize:

A three or four night Bahamas cruise vacation for two on Royal Caribbean International, roundtrip coach tickets to any port city served by Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air, Uncommonly Smooth Seattle´s Best Coffee, and a Borders gift card.

Second Prize:

A three or four night Baja Mexico cruise for two on Royal Caribbean International, roundtrip coach tickets to any port city served by Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air, Uncommonly Smooth Seattle´s Best Coffee, and a Borders gift card.

Third Prize:

100 winners will receive one (1) 12 oz. bag of Seattle´s Best Coffee Breakfast Blend Coffee.

Note: This Sweepstakes is intended for participation by legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. The Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with U.S. law without regard for any applicable conflicts of laws rules. Do not enter this Sweepstakes if you are not located in the United States.

These rules apply to the Seattle´s Best Coffee (SBC) My Summer Adventure Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) being conducted by Seattle´s Best Coffee, LLC, 2401 Utah Ave. South, Seattle, WA 98134 (“Sponsor”), and administered by Marden-Kane, Inc., 36 Maple Place, Manhasset, NY 11030 (“Administrator”). This Sweepstakes starts 12:00:00 AM (Midnight) Pacific Time
(PT) July 2, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 PM PT September 2, 2008 (Promotional Period).

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Seattle´s Best Coffee, LLC, its parent company and all their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, Marden-Kane, Inc., prize suppliers, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouses, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses regardless of where they live) and individuals living in the households of the above, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

2. HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotional Period, complete and submit electronically the entry form located online at http://mysummeradventure.com. Complete all the required information and click submit. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Limit one (1) entry per person per e-mail address during the Promotional Period. Multiple entries submitted by a single entrant or e-mail address or incomplete entries are void.

All entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM PT on September 2, 2008.

3. DRAWING: The potential winners will be selected on or about September 9, 2008 from all eligible entries received in a random drawing conducted by Marden-Kane Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Limit one prize per person or household. The odds of winning will be dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.

4. PRIZES: (1) Grand Prize: A cruise for two (2) aboard any Royal Caribbean International vessel (RCI) that offers a seven [7] night cruise to the Caribbean including first class air travel on Alaska Airlines. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $7,955; (1) First Prize: A three [3] or four [4] night cruise to the Bahamas for two (2) (number of nights depends on the sailing date) aboard RCI, including air transportation on Alaska Airlines (coach class). ARV $5,940.00. (1) Second Prize: A three [3] or four [4] night cruise to Baja Mexico for two (2) (number of nights depends on the sailing date) aboard RCI, including air transportation on Alaska Airlines (coach class). ARV $5,940. All trips include two round-trip air vouchers from Alaska Airlines from a major international airport closest to the winner´s home to the port of embarkation that is served by Alaska Airlines or Horizon Air, ship accommodations consisting of a standard double room occupancy (deck assignment is at the sole discretion of RCI), ocean transportation, most meals, some beverages and most entertainment while onboard the ship and a $100 Borders Gift Card. If a winner resides within 100 miles of the port of embarkation, it is his/her responsibility to arrive at the port of embarkation in time for the ship´s departure; then airfare and ground transportation will be forfeited, and no additional compensation or substitution will be provided for any difference in prize value. Actual value of the trip will vary depending on the cruise, date selected, accommodations and the point of departure. Alaska Airlines air vouchers and Borders Gift Cards are subject to the terms and conditions thereon. (100) Third Prizes: One (1) 12 oz. bag of SBC Breakfast Blend Coffee.
ARV $7.99 ea. Winners´ travel companions must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older, unless they are an immediate family member, and will be required to execute and return a Liability Release/Publicity Release prior to issuance of the travel documents. If a minor, such documents must be signed by the parent or legal guardian, and if not accompanied by the parent or legal guardian, they must have a notarized letter from their parent or legal guardian that they are authorized to travel and receive emergency medical treatment. Winners and their travel companions must travel together and on the same itinerary, or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate selection. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor´s agent, on a carrier of Sponsor´s choice. In addition, winners are responsible for obtaining their own travel documents (e.g. passports, which are now required to re-enter the United States) and may wish to obtain travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) at their own expense and hereby acknowledge that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance.

Additional Cruise Terms and Conditions: Prizes are to be issued in the form of cruise certificates which are valid for one year from date of issue, subject to the terms and conditions as stated thereon. Cruises are only applicable to categories F, H, I, L, M, N, or Q (Inside or Outside Stateroom). Prizes are based on double occupancy and stateroom availability at time of booking. Cruise does not include government taxes and fees and ground transportation to the port of embarkation. Cruises not available during the months of June, July & August as well holidays and certain blackout dates. Sixty (60) days advance notice is required prior to sailing in order to check for availability and enter your reservation request. Sailing must commence prior to the expiration date of certificate. You must have this certificate number at time of reservation. The certificate is valid for new bookings only and cannot be used for preexisting bookings. Prize may not be upgraded nor is it redeemable for cash. Certificates are non-transferable, and may not be given, bartered or sold. Other restrictions may apply. All items of a personal nature such as, but not limited to, shore excursions, liquor, gratuities, laundry, gifts, etc, are not included. No substitution, cash equivalent, or transfer of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Winners are responsible for the payment of all federal, state and local taxes on the prizes and for any other expenses not specifically described above, including, where applicable, port taxes.

5. NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be notified by e-mail on or about September 12, 2008 followed by written confirmation. Forfeiture of prize & selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following at the Sponsor?s discretion: [1] failure of a potential Grand, First or Second Prize winner to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, where legal, Publicity Release, and a completed IRS Form W-9, within14-days after mailing; [2] the return of any notification or prize as undeliverable and [3] any other non-compliance with these Official Rules. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to the use by Sponsor or its designees of their names, city and state and photographs/likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. Upon request, winners agree to consent to such in writing.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Seattle s Best Coffee, LLC, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., Alaska Airlines, Borders, Inc., Columbia Sportswear Company and their parent companies and all their affiliates, subsidiaries, Marden-Kane, Inc., advertising and promotions agencies, and each of their respective agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees (collectively, “Releasees”) from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or liability of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of any prize (including, without limitation, any travel or travel-related activity thereto) that may be awarded. The Sweepstakes & Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington without regard to its principles of conflicts of law and jurisdiction & venue shall be solely within the State of WA. Releasees are not responsible for technical, computer, mechanical, printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes related materials; or for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, or human or other error.
If in the Sponsor´s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer viruses, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor in its sole discretion reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process & void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes & conduct a random drawing to award the prizes using all eligible non suspect entries received as of the termination date. Any attempts by an individual to access any web site associated with this promotion via robotic, automatic entry devices, programs such as, but not limited to, by script, macro or any other automated means, or other unauthorized entry will void all such entries by such methods. Sponsor and its agencies shall not be liable for any injury or damage to an Entrant?s or any other person?s computer related to or resulting from entering the Sweepstakes. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserve the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a winner based on an email address, the winning entry will be declared made by the “Authorized Account Holder” of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person 18 years of age or older who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that: a.) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, & entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; b.) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; c.) any & all claims, judgments & awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred & in no event shall entrant be entitled to receive attorneys´ fees or other legal costs.
